1. Description:
Despite being oriented to operate on the vertical axis, vertical injection molding machines complete the same tasks as conventional horizontal machines. To meet a variety of customer needs, this type of machine is available in hydraulic, electric, and hybrid executions. Due to their orientation, vertical injection molding machines take up very little floor space. (Watch this video for a 360 view). Particularly suitable for insert molding applications are vertical injection molding machines. Before overmolding, components can be easily loaded into the mold and held there by gravity. Vertical injection molding machines frequently have a shuttle or rotary table to enable loading and demolding to take place during the machine's cycle time. (see images below).
